Project Overview

Medic operates one of the busiest 911 Emergency Management Systems in the Southeast. Their teams serve all 542 square miles of Mecklenburg County, including the rapidly expanding City of Charlotte, NC. On a daily basis their teams help birth children and care for families. In early 2017 RSI was selected and engaged to provide the overall move management planning and execution for MEDIC’s relocation to their new building on  Wilkinson Boulevard. During a period of nine months RSI provided the detailed departmental fact gathering for the move, developed the dependencies for the 12 departmental moves, including fleet maintenance, call center, IT and operations. The relocation involved (7) phases to prevent any downtime and disruptions and   provide for a smooth employee transition. RSI worked closely with the architect, general    contractor and stake holders to assure the entire relocation project was kept on schedule.
